I understand what it is like to suffer from depression, anxiety, grief, and parenting challenges.  My own personal story and healing has led me to help others who encounter similar difficulties.  Through my own work, I found a calling for conveying the power of hope, healing, and change.  

I had previously worked in finance and consulting for 15+ years before my life's direction shifted with the birth of my daughter.  I became engrossed with attachment theory, relationship stories, brain science and human development.  To be honest, I found myself wanting to be the best father and husband possible.  I quickly learned through my own work that perfection in relationships can not and should not be sought after, but that repairs and shifting expectations are what can help to bring us together.  My thirst for knowledge and helping others led me to seek a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy degree.  My coursework and post master's experience has revolved around child therapy, individual counseling, parent consulting, family and couples therapy.

I share my story to let you know more about me, not to draw parallels.  I believe that my most important role is to be a container for your story.  I am here to listen, offer an ear, provide a safe space, work with you, and even give guidance when needed.  Whether you are 5 or 85 I believe that your story lies within you.  My intent is to help you find your truth.

I have been a proud resident of East Nashville since 2010 and am happy to be able to offer services in both Davidson and Williamson counties.  You can often find me in the beautiful green spaces, hiking trails, coffeeshops, and record stores that our city has to offer.  I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Finance and Business Administration. I hold a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University and am fully licensed in the state of Tennessee.
